For this project, the client came to me with full ideas. I had him fill out my branding questionnaire in order for me to get a good starting idea of how he views his business and what how he would like others to view it as well. The client specified that he wanted a dog to be the focal point of the brand. He needed it to be a Labrador retriever that was either brown or black. He also wanted a director’s chair included to represent how big he would like his brand/studio to become.

From reading through his answers to the questionnaire, I could see that he wanted his logo to be something playful and that his brand centered around anime. During the sketching and planning process, I pulled from different anime styles to create the final look of this logo. This project went through one round of iterations and the client was very pleased with the final result.
